Edward Jones- Jose Huizar

Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. I chose a career in financial services because I believe I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in my community. At Edward Jones, I prioritize building strong relationships with my clients by listening to their stories and understanding their unique goals.
I strive to demystify the investment world, making financial concepts relatable and accessible so clients feel empowered and informed throughout their journey. I hold a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from San Diego State University, where I conducted research in a rural community in Oaxaca, Mexico. I partnered with a community support group for elders left behind by migrating family members, gaining a deep understanding of the power of connection and advocacy. Professionally, I served as a Program Manager for a nonprofit supporting children in the dependency court system. I matched youth with caring volunteers who championed their unmet needs, fostering meaningful relationships and impactful solutions. These experiences strengthened my commitment to listening, problem-solving, and creating positive outcomes for those I serve.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and embracing new experiences. Whether helping families plan for retirement, save for education, or navigate life’s financial complexities, my goal is to ensure that my clients feel supported and empowered. Together, we’ll work to create a brighter financial future that aligns with your unique goals.
