The campaign has officially begun, and now it's time for the community to decide who will become the nextĀ Honorary Mayor of Carmichael!

For decades, the Honorary Mayor Race has been one of Carmichael's most cherished traditionsā€”bringing together local leaders, businesses, and residents to raise thousands of dollars for deserving nonprofits while celebrating the spirit of community.

This year's candidates are competing not for political office, but for a cause. Each has selected a local nonprofit organization to champion, turning every donation into meaningful support for organizations making a difference right here in our community.

Supporting your favorite candidate is easy!

  • Every $1 donated = 1 voteĀ for your chosen candidate.
  • 75% of every donationĀ goes directly to the candidate's designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
  • 25% supports the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce, helping us continue to advocate for local businesses, host community events, and strengthen the Carmichael community.
  • The candidate with the most votes at the end of the campaign will be named theĀ 2027 Honorary Mayor of Carmichael.
