Assistance League of Sacramento

"Fabulous Finds is my favorite thrift store. The store is run by volunteers and the income is used to provide services for people in need in the Sacramento area. The store is very well laid out and shopping there is a pleasure. I highly recommend this store."Joan via Yelp
Assistance League of Sacramento was chartered in 1968 and became the 45th chapter of National Assistance League with 50 members. Since that time its member volunteers have consistently provided quality service to the greater Sacramento area.
More than 270 member volunteers operate three community programs, with nine components, that impact more than 32,500 lives each year. We provide new clothes, shoes, school supplies, literacy services, and hygiene kits to more than 15,000 elementary school children.
We serve foster youth and sex trafficking victims with housing starter kits, hygiene/cleaning products, and clothing. We provide one-time goods, services, and housing starter kits to thousands of homeless individuals and middle school students.

We provided (in 2025) 34 scholarships to community college students. We package and deliver teddy bears to hospitals, law enforcement, and emergency facilities for traumatized children and seniors with memory impairment.
We clothe women entering the workplace when they have completed a job training program. We supply yarn and fabric to senior facilities where residents produce scarves, blankets, and hats for children, homeless individuals, and teens in crisis.
Since Assistance League's inception, more than 600,000 lives have been touched. Fabulous Finds on Fulton resale shop is our major source of funding. The shop is staffed and managed entirely by our member volunteers.
Donations are always welcome and are tax-deductible. Assistance League purchased its own building in 2014 to increase revenues and to grow programs supporting the community.
