UC Davis Event: The Borgen Project Information Table — 10 AM-2 PM

Visit our information table at the UC Davis Memorial Union on June 5th, 2026 to learn about The Borgen Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing global poverty through advocacy, education, and civic engagement. The organization advocates for critical issues such as global food security, food aid reform, newborn and child survival, access to clean water and sanitation, expanded educational opportunities, electricity access, and research and treatment for global diseases.
Attendees can learn about global poverty issues, effective solutions, and current legislation that The Borgen Project is advocating for Congress to pass. Visitors can also explore ways to get involved through volunteer and internship opportunities, advocacy efforts such as calling and emailing members of Congress, and community outreach.
Informational materials will be available, and attendees are welcome to stop by, ask questions, and discover how they can support policies and initiatives that help improve the lives of people living in poverty around the world.
Everyone is invited to stop by, learn more, and pick up informational resources.
